O’Odham's Story
O’Odham Baa’nya Jones was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey and spent much of his youth searching for critters along the coast. He has a passion for plants, animals, and metaphysics. He studied at Rutgers University before moving to Dallas, Texas at the age of 25. He enjoys working on cars, gardening, and thrilled to begin learning about aquaponics. He’s a walking Google Search Bar - knows absolutely everything about everything - and the person everyone calls when they need absolutely anything.
Channing's Story
Channing Michelle Belford grew up in Waco, Texas and spent much of her childhood writing short stories and short films. She has a passion for metaphysics, advaita vedanta philosophy, and nature. She studied at the University of Texas at Austin and earned a MBA at ASU in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She enjoys hiking, yoga, blogging, and excited to begin learning how to illustrate in hopes to create children books that teach children how to cope with difficult emotions and life events.
Our Relationship
We met in 2015, at Hopdoddy in Uptown Dallas. It was love at first site for her, and love-two-days-later for him. We bonded over our love for nature and in-depth discussions about the mysteries of the universe. We’ve had a magical time together these past few years and are most grateful for all of our cozy nights filled with hot tea and #Marvel, and our unplugged vacations spent in nature. We were engaged in June 2018, and now we're getting married!
